RELAX® Riesling

Since its introduction, Schmitt Sohne's RELAX Riesling has caught the wandering eye of the American wine drinker. At first it was the breakthrough package: sexy, simple and approachable. But good looks alone can't sustain growth. Two IMPACT hot brands awards later, RELAX Riesling is one of America's most recognized, best-loved wines.

RELAX Riesling has a clean, off-dry taste with a wonderful fruity bouquet with flavors of apples and peaches and just a hint of citrus. The natural acidity gives this wine a crisp finish and a well-balanced minerality of a classic German Riesling.

Ice Wine

The harvest of these wines is very rare as it only occurs during the first hard frost that freezes the last of the grapes that remain on the vine. The grapes are then picked and pressed frozen so very little water gets into the press and only a small amount of highly concentrated juice is extracted. The result is an extraordinary bond between sweetness and acidity.
