The estate was Founded in 1561, Friedrich-Wilhelm-Gymnasium’s vineyards are located in the Mosel region, renowned for delicate Rieslings. These steep slate slopes stress the vines and expose the fruit to long periods sunlight during the growing season. These factors result in internationally renowned harvests….and wines!
The complexity of the wines is reflected by the estate’s exquisite terroir. Steep slate slopes, overgrown foliage reliefs and rolling hills are in perfect harmony to create near-perfect growing conditions.
