Highly selective harvesting from our oldest vines begins the process of making this rare, award-winning Pinot Noir. Franz Anton Pinot Noir has been lauded by Eichelmann, Germany's most renowned wine guide, as a "best red wine," noting its purity, complexity and "fascinating sustainability."

This wine is fermented in small wooden casks and develops a deep red color with tobacco and carnation notes. It is a full-bodied, intense wine with fresh tannins and a long lingering finish. Pairs well with beef, lamb, veal and rich aromatic sauces.
